04-26-2002: The Night of Suck - To steal a topic from my favorite EQ webpage (LoS), the night started off shitty, and got worse. Fred park resulted in adds... including SW. Try again, gets worse. Cleaned up my own act and started moving again, and it seemed like the zone screwed us... see invisers everywhere, and their respawns where more seeinvisers. Can I come to VP? Sure, join the suck, can't get worse! Anyways, got a few decent drops... PE Hammer (Grusuum), Green Scale (TBA), Rend Robe (Snomandi) and 3x Shrouds (Yngwie/Curian/Amadalia). Also, WW clearings payed off bigtime, resulting in 2 Myga slayings (Dakart/Yngwie). I'm sure there is more, but hard to tell from out here ;)

03-11-2002: Here's What I Know. - I tried kicking my cable in the nuts... that didn't seem to help me logon better. Here's what I know: Some Realmers went and hung out in Umbral Plains for a bit, picked up Ring of the Ages (Gohhan), Necklace of Wishes (Saamar), BP of integrity (Somodon). Moved over to Ssra Temple and whacked Rhag1 for Focus Crystal (Saamar) and Earring of Resistance (Suporma), along with several SoL spells. Trak gave up Mrylo BP (Sydor), Donals BP (Whizzer), Sinew (Zahib) and 4 teeth. Another Umbral Plains excursion yielded some orb (Arondale), Bracelet of Fortitude (Reiano), Grand Shield of Faith (Drumil), Belt of Scintillation (Camtilla) and Calamity's End (Skyll). Lendi gave up Gloves (Padadida), Maul (Cleaver) and Talisman (Metalion). Kahntun finally got a brain (/cheer @ smart troll). CT also gave up his Eye (Unded) and Cloak (Chryseis). Sont dead again, grats Kharnas on talisman. Additionally, VP was cleared (no clue on drops) and Klandicar killed (Lilwean).

02-24-2002: Bad Notes! - I swear, I um... lost my pencil. Yeah. PharaDar dropped Shield of the Elders (Mixien), and Claw/Sword of Rile (Vankham). Lendi dropped talismen (Trolbiterr), boots (Chryseis) and breastplate (Saamar). Also sent 12 RoA's for their first ST venture, Master of the Guard dropped Primal Warlance (Rhon). The only other noteable drop was a priceless spear (Reiano).

02-18-2002: Slow News Day - Dropped Sontalek (grats Dagorath). Killed gozz, loot was Rekeklo's War Sword (Somodon) and Shovel (Eashan). Telk's loot was Lance (Merasi), Black Maul (Horrendus) and Eyepatch (forgot :/). Lendi dropped ST key (Syrch), boots (Amadorn) and maul (Gladerunner). Got our first shot at some NToV dragons, Ikatiar The Venom dropped Tunic (Faeador) and Cloak (Horrendus). Eashen of the Sky dropped Ring (Tenan), Fist (Gohhan) and Sleeves (Ultrazen). Gave a shot at Aaryonar, got spanked (75%)... at least we learned what not to do. Got word from some campatriots that Terror, Draco and Cazic were up, moved onto them. Terror dropped shield (Zethras). Draco dropped bracer (Zakk) and CRoA (guildfund). The Cazic fight was the best fight I've seen us do, in that the MT survived for the longest of any 'boss' type fight, and the switchover when dead was fairly smooth. The only thing bad was positioning, but we pulled that out. Good job guys!. The rewards: Robe of Inspiration (Shnotz) and Brain of Cazic-Thule (Medazoa). Made a quick run through Chardok Royals, King Note to Arizen and Queen Blade to Ravik, completing his epic. Grats!

02-16-2002: Vp Cleared... Again, ST dragons - Since Bortas is claiming his ISP is down (ya right, pay your bills. 8P) here is your update. VP cleaned out again. Lots of goodies, rend robe , 4 shrouds of veeshan (sno/skyll/qeni/dak), SoW sword (gospel) and some grey suede booties (gohhan/frater). Klandicar got slapped around again, grats Reiano on ST key. Then it was off for our first attempt at Lendi the keeper. A few new wrinkles from the new patch, but in the end she was no match for the Realm of Ages. Grats Kahntun on ST key and some new gloves of superiority. Grats Nadiana on boots of superiority and Suporma on Maul

Hosh dropped 2x wiz staffs (Yngwie/Purpel) and Grey Suede Boots (Faeador). Xygoz gave his left eye (Socarri), Malevolent Runeblade (Ravik). Nexona dropped DMF robe (PoD) and Sprinkler of Suffering (Dagorath). Druushk dropped Skullchrusher (Gohhan), and 2x necros staves (Zakk/Unded). 02-11-2002: A Change of Luck? - Killed Gozzrem for the way uber drops of 2x Eye of Rigtorne (rotted/rotting in my bags) /sigh. Pharmage yeilded a few pairs of legs, 2x Silk Robes (Niobe/Southside), 2x Chain Tunics (Mrovrnite/Gladerunner), Leather Tunix (Tenae), Plate BP (Gamadar). All those Myga clearings payed off, grats Elrimn. Did bard trak for Zelo (grats on epic), SS BP to Dragoss. Did paratrooper style attack on Wuoshi, dropped 2x CBoL (guildfund), 2x Scales (guildfund), Tanglewood Shield (Tenae) and that bow (Zorizon). Killed Sont for ST Talisman #7 (Rhon), then did s'more pharming, turned into a panty raid, picking up over a dozen pairs of pants. 2x Silk Robes again (Ywen/Asid). Extremely successful farming run folks, legs/bp's are what we need the most. Somewhere in there, Lodizal gave his shield (Nadian), 2x rings (Muglugg/forgot) and map part (Ultrazen).

02-08-2002: Slain Mobs - The last few days we've killed Sontalek for our 6th key (Chryseis). Bard Trak died for Casies epic, plus Manna Robe (Windfollower). Normal Trak dropped an uber 2teeth, 2 poisoned mantles (Elizas/Forgot) and Sinew (Dego). Gorenair dropped phat lewts as well, including yet another horn, druid staff, and our 6th bajillionth copy of banishment. *cheers* for better drops, gang :)

02-02-2002: Bad SK, No Cookie - Well, I've been a lazy ass, and not taken the notes I normally do for loot drops. Sowwy. A quick sum up: we killed Klandicar for the first time, on our first time, dropped Sont for our 5th talismen, got our 4th azure robe, 3rd shroud of veeshan, 2nd crown of rile, 3rd rend robe and some other stuff. Generally having a banner month, so logging in instead of updating. And there you have my impression of the LoS site :) Grats to Shaal, Somodon and Svvead on level 60 (plus anyone else I missed), and Smushface on epix.

01-30-2002: Trak, Sont, Vindi - Trak dropped a Poisoned Mantle (Zahib), Tolans BP (Darby) and 3x teeth. We tried Sont today, lost, tried a second time, won, grats Tenan on talisman. Also attempted Vindicator for the first time with sucess. Thanks to everyone who offered their help (party of TMO + Evanderr, a HoD monk who aided greatly with the pull). Dropped Boots of the Vindicator (Shaal) and head for Gloves of Earthcrafting (Witticus). Congrats to Zahib and Mixien on 60, Muglugg and Teggan on epics.

01-28-2002: First Brood Dragon - We were in the midst of ToV farming (Grats Trolbiterr on plate bp), when a guildy got pasted by Sontalek. After a little debate, we decided to make a play for it. None in our midst had organized such a killing, and few had even participated in one. We organized, buff the best we could, came up with a plan, and executed it. Our attemp ended in failure, last member dying with no visable life left on Sontalek. Nonplussed, we rezed and buffed again, and put to work the knowledge we had gained from our first attempt. We altered our plan, and engaged him again, this time with success, and losing about 1/3 of our raiding force. This was our first kill of a First Brood, but beyond that, it was our first attempt at one. I'm looking forward to fighting him again, and further refining our methods. Congrats to Degor on the key talismen. Members, here is the thread.

01-20-2002: Hand of Veeshan, Telk, Gozz, etc. - Went to Plane of Air intend on dropping the Hand of Veeshan, and were sucessful. Killing the Hand is a test of patience and willpower, happily, we were finished by Saturday night Click Here for pics (sorry, members only). I know several quests were completed, but unsure on specifics, grats to all who finished. Gozzrem dropped: Bracelet of Protection (Phedrus), Eye of Rigtorgn (Falinx, 25/25 now) and Rekeklo's War Sword (Zorizon). Telkorenar dropped: Emerald Bastardsword of Purity (Somodon), True Mithril Breastplate (Zorizon) and Black Rock Maul of Crushing (Kalaelin). Proceeded to farm some armor, plate legs to Mixien, leather legs to Haplon. Assisted Changing Tide with Ragefire (Grats Hizz), then moved on to bard trak who dropped Cloak of Piety (Ronzon). Congrats to Stumpyeye and Dyfrin who completed their epics, and Tazax on level 60.

01-12-2002: Trak Dead, VP Cleared - Trak dropped 3 teeth, and 2x Donal's BP's (Trolbiterr/Dokke). This weekend was our vowed VP cleaering weekend, and we have succeeded, we had anywhere from 24 to 36 depending on the times. Now for the good stuff: Silverwing gave up: Dragon Spine Staff (Medazoa), Robe of Asphyxiation (Skyll), leet 2h wurmslayer (Bortas). Hoshkar did not drop a scale (/sigh), but did drop: 2x Shissar Protection Staff (Gamadar/Degor), Veldrak's Shortblade (Snotide) and a Fatesealer (Stumpyeye). Druushk had: Sarnak Summoner's Staff (Pinnigelf), Shissar Focus Staff (Skyll, lol), Karana of Endurance (Zahib) and Verdix's Shortsword (Snotide). Xygoz gave up his Left Eye (Zakk), Solist's Rob of Invocation (Elrimn) and Malevolent Runeblade (Snotide, I think). Nexona's loot was: Nightfall (Chryseis), Blackstone Maul (Zenlan) and Broad Axe of Ykesha (Darby). Finally, Phara was a tough fight, I'm proud of all the stuck through it to the very end, for success! Additionally, Phara's loot was darned good: Shield of Elders (Trolbiterr), Shroud of Veeshan (Shnotz) and Robe fo the Azure Sky (Dakart). Congrats to all, and good job!! Finally, a belated congrats to Zenlan, on level 60.

Gave a couple shots at Cazic, best attempt was 5%, close call gang, we'll gettem next time. Prior to VP, killed Talendor, RBB (Carde), book (looted for MQ) and several spells. Dropped Silverwing, Dragon Spine Staff (Witticus), 2x Scimi of Lifestealing (Kharnas/Tenan) and several nice spells. Spent the rest of the evening working on our bane, Hoshkar with 30 stalwart travelers. Picture worth 1000 words?

01-01-2002: ToV, Lodi, Innoruuk - Sunday's ToV saw a Plate BP (Dagorath) and a Silk Robe (Blurem), in addition to a happy wedding between longterm members. click here for pics and details. Lodizal dropped the map part (Chryseis), shield (Phedrus), ring (Niobe) and boots (guildfund). Plane of Hate raid saw many first floor drops (bunch of people), although fewer BD's than normal. Epic drops were: shattering emerald of corruption (Nadiana, grats on epic), essence of vampire (Niobe) and 2x hand of maestro (Zahib/Ronzon). 2nd floor saw Life's Guard (Zorizon), druid bp (Tenae, sorry, think its Breastplate of Harmony, but don't have stat link), and a Silverleaf Belt (Lilwean). We cleared to Innoruuk, and ended up with an accidental early pull... however, we killed him first attempt, with roughly half dozen deaths. Loot was 2x Eye of Innoruuk (Kham/Skyll for MQ), Triumphant Mask (Drumil), Icebelt (Wiladorm), and 2x Engineer's Ring (Camtilla/Skyll) the best inny loot by fair margin, imo :) Good job all on our first Inny kill!

12-30-2001: Dragons and the Run Around - Cleared Myga ph's, picked up 2x 7/6 talismans similar to this (Elrimn/Frater), Barbed Dragonscale Boots (Kroxager), 4x Frostbringers (guildfund). Once in ToV killed Telk, dropped; Transparent Eyepatch x2 (Shaal/Elrimn) and Lance of Thunder (Pursuader). Gozz dropped; Cloak of Silver Eyes (Ultrazen) and Shovel of Harvest (Faeador, now 50/43, not 35/37). While clearing the way to these dragons, we also picked up 2x plate BP's (Mackin/Bryguy) and a silk robe (Amadalia). On to Wuoshi, dropped 3x Scales for Emerald Dragonscale Tunic (Grats cleric alts) and 2x Scimitar of the Emerald Dawn (Teggan/CD for reawarding).

12-28-2001: Christmas Update - I've been out of town, so this update will likely miss some stuff. Santa got pissed at bad kiddies, and he handed out their goodies to our members. Gozzrem yielded the following presents: Unopenable Box (Telados), Bracelt of Protection (Medazoa). Telk yielded Transparent Eyepatch (Zamim) and Bastard Sword of Purity (Lidokidz, 24/24 now, btw). While looking about for something to do, our favorite reindeer, Severilous, spawned. His scale gave Kharnas two lightsabres to play jedi with, Shield of the Green Dragon (Apook), Dragon Hero Bracer (Chryseis) and 2x drums of march (guildfund). Santa's other reindeer, Silverwing, gave a Toy Ax (Kahntun), Scimi of Lifestealing (Mackin), Blued Flower Katana (Zahib), and another bard lute (PoD). Rudolf (lodizal) gave his shield to Saamar, Club to Wiladorm and Boots to Wute. Joined with CD to assist with Wuoshi; Scimi of Emerald Dawn (Fflint), Skydarkener (Praelus) and 3x Scales (Balken + CD Officers). Reindeer refuse to stay dead; Sev poped again, only loot I know was a green scale (Flair). Rudolf poped again, RoA mixed with some others. Belt to Chryseis, Shield x2 to Stumpy/Asid, final eyepatch peice to Elizas. Somewhere in here, we killed a bunch of Santa's Elves (Chardok), putting Dokke and Mixien RF ready. Finally, Nadiana finshed half the ranger epic, and Kharnas and Flair on their warrior epics. Grats to all, and Happy Holidays.

Along those lines, RoA should be ashamed of themselves, Ronzon, a 48 warrior got killshot!

12-03-2001: This Weekend - This weekend we went to Veeshan's Peak for the first time, 26 RoA'ers (Plus Evilmagus on Saturday) took down Silverwing, drops were: Robe of Smothering (Kham), Dragon Claw Main Gauche (Kharnas), Blued Flower Katana x2 (Fontanez, Reiano). We tried Hoshkar a few times, getting progressively further down, but didn't manage to get it this time around. Next time Hosh dies, so finish those keys!!!. Cleared the way to PoM enterance, then went to PoM to dink around. Sunday, went back to usual ToV farmage, was a plate day: plate greaves to Font/Silami, plate bp to Reiano. Gozzrem was also dropped, his loot was: Wand of the Black Dragon Eye (Windfollower), Bracelet of Protection (Purpel) and Shovel of the Harvest (Gohhan).

RoA did, moved onto Gozzrem, he dropped two Bracelet of Protection (Amadalia, Metalion). 10-06-2001: Dragons Dead - Started the day off with Trakanon. He kept getting stuck in wall, so we decided to try him there. He gated, big surprise. Reformed and went again, Gratz Mackin on kill shot, Lilwean on ES BP and Torlequin (invite) on JB BP. Dropped Gorenaire in a matter of seconds, no deaths. Grats to Silami and Suporma on Dragon Hero Bracer, Zamim on Shield of the White Dragon, Zelo on the White Scale and Moi, on kill shot ;). Trak and Gore both dropped several spells, but I neglected to take a note of them. Afterwards, went to Dragon Necropolis for a bit of fun, picked up a few new toys as well. Grats to Shnotz on his Staff of the Four. Finally, upcoming PoA raid is in danger of being cancelled, so go sign up.

8-26-2001: ToV - It was leg day again at ToV along with lots of other goodies. Rokk (plate gloves), Windfollower (silk robe), Jakleor (Plate BP), Bryguy (plate legs), Cabaniz (plate legs), Rhon (plate legs), Haplon (leather BP), Jara (leather sleeves, gloves), Teggan (leather bracer), Ozmodin (silk arms, legs), Syrch (plate arms), Immudin (silk arms), Pad (plate gloves, boots). Plus many more that I missed. We got Telkanor down to about 20 percent. Good show on our second attempt ever. He will be going down very soon.

8-25-2001: ToV, Gore, Wuoshi - It was leg day at ToV, 3 pairs of silk (Yenin, Haem, can't recall the 3rd), 5 pairs of chain legs (UZ, Cal). We got the word that Gore was up in DL. Got wiped out the first attempt, but she went down on the second try. Grats to Degor on Shield of the White Dragon, Pad on Selos drums and white scale. Then it was off to Wuoshi. Some added Giants thwarted our first attempt, but the fatty Zamim joined for the second attemped and slowed his ass. Emerald Dragonscale BP to Saph, Lucent Blade to Cal, Schimitar of the Emerald Dawn to Phredrus. Looks like the druid Faydedar was downed for Borren too.

8-23-2001: Lodi, Kelorek Dar down - Our expert tracker Darby got stormfeather and proceeded to track Lodi. It was a big cluster of several guilds, but RoA came out on top. 2 shells for the Lodizal Shield went to Metalion and Medazoa. Knotted Turtlebone Ring went to Snomandi. Map was PLOOTED by unknown person. Kelorek Dar went down to 20 RoA soon after Lodi. He dropped 3 rogue piercers (grats to Chryseis) and scale for Sea Dragonscale Bracer plus 3 spells.

6-22-2001: Chardok Raid; Success! - Kham and crew led a real smooth run down through the royals, picking up two Queen blades for our warriors (Syrch, Smushface), completing Syrch's Jagged Blade of War. Additionally, Faeador hit 60, congrats!

6-03-2001: Trak Dead - Sacred Fyre invited us to our first Trak raid, turns out we ended up with most of the folks there. Our first shot was a failure, but second attempt we gottem. SF Walked away with 2 teeth and a Mrylokar's BP, we came out with two teeth and a Cloak of Piety (Rhon). Rhon then graciously passed down his self-purchased Cloak of Flames, awarded to Flair. 6-02-2001: Death to Dragons - First, Kelorek Dar was slain, dropped Cloak of Crystaline Waters (Bryguy). Then off to PoG... only 3 drops :(. We also killed Wuoshi for the first time, dropped two scales for Emerald Dragonscale Tunic (Alexx, Runcor), two Luclin Blades (Smushface, Cleaner), Tanglewood Shield (Faolan) and a Sky Darkener (Drumil). Afterwords, the guild flattered me with overwhelming support to kill a relatively easy part of my epic. Thanks gang! :)

Additionally, Mage Epic staff (Ozmodin), Bloodmoon (/shrug), Back Straps (Faeador), Hand of Maestro (Cabaniz), Rod of Infinit Thought (Muergano), Bard Weapon from Maestro (/shrug), Decrepit Hide (looted for MQ'ing). 4-19-2001: Plane of Hate Raid - To say the old school drops were amazing would be a huge understatement: EM BP, Indy BP (Buudaka), Encyclopedia Necrothurgia (Leriela), Staff of Elemental Mastery: Earth (Arondale), and Essence of Vampire (Grahmpa). That is all the list I have, I know there was a ton more, but no details. This raid brings Arondale and Grahmpa extremely close to finishing their epics. Cognrats!

4-18-2001: Venril Slain, v3.0 - I had the opportunity to login from work and attend my first VS raid. Was pretty intresting, mostly RoA folks, with a ton of handy invites. Loot was Cobalt Greaves (Toshido, RoA), Nightshade Scented Staff (Repents, NW) and the Wiz epic staff (Snomandi, RoA). The only regret is that there was not enough of his loot to spread around to all the invites. Congrats Tosh, on RoA's first pair of greaves, and everyone else on a fun raid.

4-05-2001: Plane of Hate Raid - Ported up and cleared the old school mob, many old loots dropped, including Dagoraths EM BP (finally). Moved up to the second and third floor, picked up the uber Paladin BP, Breastplate of the Righteous (Bryguy), in addition to a really nice Pal/SK sword, Darkmetal Falchion (Rhon). Attempted Inny with DoA's assistance and failed, but sure was fun! :)

4-02-2001: Sky Raid Finished - We had an *awesome* weekend in Sky, we killed the Eye of Veeshan twice, but ran out of steam short of our goal of killing the Hand of Veeshan. A whopping eleven quests were completed, including the first on any server Ranger bow, the Windstriker. Congrats Darby, and a huge thanks to Chromite for making it possible.

3-16-2001: Tazax's Epic Completed - After many many EQ sessions spent soley in SolB awaiting Zordak, he finally spawned. RoA managed to mobilize quickly and claim the spawn, for the final item in Tazax's cleric epic, the Water Sprinkler of Nem Ankh. Congrats!

3-14-2001: Plane of Hate - Well, we ported up to find almost the entire first floor cleared, and much of the second floor (including new spawns). We did get a few mage drops, and had a good time exploring the new area and whacking new servants of Inny.

3-12-2001: Venril Sathir Vanquished - Due to a server outage, we managed our first shot at VS. First try was a wipeout, second try was no deaths. Loot was a disappointing two stones, and two necro staffs. Regardless it was very cool to get our first shot at him.

3-10-2001: Lodizal Slain - We got our first shot on Lodizal tonight, he had really nice drops: 4 spells, map part for the Eyepatch of Plunder (Bryguy), Belt of the Great Turtle (Kahntun), Knotted Turtelshell Ring (Antimides), and shell for Lodizal Shell Shield (Kinsawt). We managed to mobilize and engage in under five minutes of sighting, a great improvement in our response time. Yay team!

2-27-2001: Plane of Hate Raid - We ported up and began clearing with the intent of collecting some decent cleric drops and enchanter epic peices. While this goal failed, we did suceed in picking up some nice pieces, like an Apothic Robe (congrats Firious).

2-26-2001: Plane of Fear Raid - We took advantage of the server outage and made off with fear. Great druid drops tonight, a full suit minus helm. Cazic dropped little, as usual, including his box, Amulet of Necropotence (congrats Kahntun), and Cazic skin for wiz epic (congrats Amadalia).

2-25-2001: Plane of Sky Raid - Great weekend in sky, everyone. We made it to (but did not clear) Isle 7, much further than we have been before. Many, many quest components were collected, looks as if a few got their final item this raid. Some nice drops included three Treant Tears as well as a few class specific haste belts, like Belt of the Pine. Faolan was lucky enough to complete a quest for the Honeycomb Belt, one of the few on the server. Congrats!

2-18-2001: Feydedar Slain - "FEYDEDAR IS UP!" was heard in guildchat from Haplon. RoA formed as fast as they could then proceeded to engage the lizard. All but the mighty Kahntun (who was forced to Feign Death) were slain. Feydedar entered his death crawl shortly thereafter, due to an NPC attacking it. Kahntun stood up and reengaged the beast, to slay the monster at last. Drops were 4 spells, crappy Crystalline Spear and two Shields of the Water Dragon.
